Flying Fish
There were more fish in the air than birds this morning. Five fish were brought in before 9:00 and 4 of them fell to the ground. The biggest baby, Nelle, is a mean possessive bird. She hogs all the fish and turns on whoever brings it in. If she ever learns to catch fish on her own, there will be no more fish in the river. After I left at 9:30, another fish was brought in about 10:00.

Mike, I went up to the park on Monday at about 11AM, and young were on the ground down the field with one of the adults, on the right side. They were carrying-on and bickering. I walked down, without entering too close and they fled. They had a fish there, small bass, but not too much was eaten. They did return right away when I walked farther away. On young-un was in a three toward the end and middle of the field with an adult on a lower branch, and the other in the corner right, with an adult there too. All acounted for. Great photos you are putting on here. Maybe I will see you there soon. Don’t work too hard!
