Eagle Withdraws

I think I have gotten over eagle withdraw, it has been about a week since I have spotted the birds, this morning I saw no signs of the eagles, just a lot of deer, turkeys, and a hawk. I think it is pretty safe to say the 2011 eagle season has came to an end. This was my first completely full season and what a season it was. I started at the end of the 2009 season, and all of 2010 up until the unexpected early end with the death of the babies. I have learned way more about eagles than I would ever had thought possible. I have even learned a thing or two about photography. I have also made a lot of human friends as well, most who are just as nutty as I am when it comes to this crazy hobby. Hopefully, I will be around to get a few pics next year as well. I am sure the eagles will return, if nothing happens to one of them. I am working on a post of the whole year in review with some unseen pics, but there is a lot of stuff to sift through so I don’t know what the time frame is on posting it.

I will continue to post pictures of things I find interesting (could be anything), but probably not as frequent as I have been, so check back from time to time. Shiloheaglepics will continue on, but don’t look for a lot of eagles pics until early 2012.

I want to thank you so much, I have enjoyed the 2011 eagle blog throughout the year, but I am enjoying your photos of all the animals, just as much. I live in Tennessee but do not get to travel anymore. So this computer has become my eyes to the world. But I especially love the Tennessee photos the best though all are enjoyable. I even keep up with the Elephant Sanctuary, and the elephants are usually no shows. Again thank you kindly.

Great job on the blog, Mike! It has been so much fun getting to know all of you at the nest. I’m looking forward to next year again!
