Welcome to Shiloheaglepics.

I started this website last year (2009) to post photographs and blog about the Bald Eagles that reside in the Shiloh National Military Park. But after this years unexpected death of their babies, it kinda shortened the eagle picture taking season. Now I just blog and post Pics of things I see from day to day that I think might be interesting for others. As it is widely known, I am just starting out on my photography journey and am no way a professional or even an amateur for that matter. I just do it as a hobby.

I am confident that the eagles will return in 2011 and I will hopefully be around to take some shots and give a little insight as to what is happening. In the mean time feel free to look around at some of my images. As usual, feel free to comment on any you like. If you have any friendly advise, I welcome it as well.

The new site has a variety of ways of getting around. The “recent post box” on the left side of the page contains the last ten post that I’ve made. You can search by “categories” or you can search for post in the “search box.” There is a calendar so that you can see what was posted on a certain day.
